LOGOS

Stop by the church on any Wednesday evening, and you will see the wonders of our LOGOS Ministry!  What is it?  It is an intergenerational ministry where young people from grades 6 through 12 gather every week to spend time in fellowship and worship.

A typical Wednesday LOGOS evening includes:
  • 5:30pm – Games and gathering
  • 6:00pm – Dinner (weekly menu)
  • 6:30pm – Bible study
  • 7:00pm – Worship planning
  • 7:30pm – Worship service (open to everyone!)

===============================

Who can participate? Young people in grades 6 through 12 are welcome to attend.  You don’t have to attend Westbrook-Warren Congregational … you don’t even have to live in Westbrook.  All are welcome!

What does it cost? There is a small fee for participating in the LOGOS Ministry to cover the cost of materials and food.  There is a price break for families with multiple students, plus there is scholarship money available.  Don’t let the cost keep  you from visiting and checking LOGOS out!

Can adults participate? The program is for youth but it would be impossible to maintain without our adult volunteers.  Adults cook our delicious meals, act as table parents, lead Bible study, arrange games and crafts, and help plan worship services.

How long is the worship service? The worship service lasts about 15 minutes and is planned and lead by the youth.  There are readings, skits, songs, and lots of spirit!  Anyone is welcome to attend … parents, friends, church members, and visitors.
