Fellowship

There are lots of ways that we share fellowship in the church.  Whether sharing a cup of coffee after Sunday worship or serving at a bean supper, there are lots of different opportunities for getting involved.

Women's Fellowship

3rd Thursday of the month @ 1:00pm
FMI:  Roberta Morrill

The Women's Fellowship is open to all women of the church.  The group provides fellowship, spiritual awareness, devotion, education, fund-raising, and usually refreshments.  We women like to eat while we chat!  Our main fund-raiser is the Christmas Fair.  From these funds, we contribute to the church expense budget, Christian Mission Outreach, Pilgrim Lodge scholarships, material aid, Church Women United, and the State Fellowship.

Friends Club
4th Thursday of the month @ 5:30pm  *  Cost $4.00
FMI: Roy Leighton

The Friends Club meets on the fourth Thursday of the following months: September, October, December, January, February, March, April, and May. A very short business meeting follows the meal, and most meetings have a guest speaker. It is not just for people from our church; many of our group come from other churches, and we like to have members bring guests. A sign-up sheet is located in the church prior to the meeting night. We try to raise money throughout the year by putting on public suppers, and the monies are used for many different projects in the church.

Wild & Wacky Book Group

Most Thursdays @ 2:00pm
FMI: Dawn Levesque

The book group is an informal group who gather to discuss a book that they have all read (or that they are in the process of reading).  At the end of each session, they decide what book (or how much of a book) to read for the next meeting. This group meets on Thursday afternoons at 2:00pm.  Anyone is welcome to join.

Bean Suppers

2nd Saturday of the month @ 5:00pm and 6:00pm * Cost $____
(not held during the summer)

The monthly bean supper is a great place for fellowship!  Whether you come just to eat or to volunteer, you'll leave fulfilled.

Movies That Matter

Scheduled at various times

Periodically we will have a movie night where we gather to watch a movie and then discuss it afterwards.  We provide the popcorn, and people bring a bag lunch and maybe some snacks to share.  The choice of movie varies ... maybe a drama ... maybe a documentary ... but usually something to provoke discussion.  (But sometimes just for fun!)

Chancel Choir

Thursdays @ 7:00pm
FMI: Linda Elwell

The Chancel Choir is our adult choir that sings regularly during worship.  Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30pm and then again on Sunday mornings at 9:15am, prior to worship.  You don't have to be a great singer ... you don't have to read music ... but a sense of humor helps!

FMI: Kathy Blake

The Celebration Choir is our childrens choir that sings periodically throughout the year.  Rehearsals are on Wednesday afternoons from 5-5:30pm.

LOGOS

Wednesdays @ 5:30pm
FMI: Gail Brown

LOGOS is our weekly youth program.  We rely on many adult volunteers to keep this program going ... cooks, table parents, teachers, craft & game leaders, and many others.  If you can't commit to a regular schedule, you can still attend the weekly worship service (Wednesdays @ 7:30pm) and share in the fun once in a while!

Visitation

FMI: Ellie Doughty

The visitation program is coordinated by the Deacons.  We visit with our members & friends who are unable to attend worship due to illness or disability ... whether in the hospital or at home.  When we celebrate communion in worship each month, additional bread and juice are consecrated that we then share on our visits.
